Statement

Despite the rich history and cultural significance of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), there exists a significant gap in tailored technology solutions to address the diverse needs of HBCU stakeholders. Current platforms fail to provide comprehensive support for students, alumni, black-owned businesses, scholarship foundations, lenders, and tech companies within HBCU communities. This lack of dedicated digital infrastructure hampers community engagement, limits access to opportunities, and stifles economic empowerment initiatives. Consequently, there is a pressing need for an innovative platform like HBCC (HBCU Community Connect) to revolutionize the HBCU experience, foster community engagement, and drive economic empowerment within HBCU communities.

Our Goals

Increasing student engagement, streamline scholarship applications, and boost internship placements.

#2 Increase Alumni Participation

-Connect alumni with current students and encourage support for HBCUs.

Growing alumni mentorship involvement, raise donations to HBCUs, and boost attendance at alumni events.

-Provide a platform for black-owned businesses to thrive.
